Serve Don’t Sell
Thank Client for their time - “Thanks for taking the time to talk to me today! I’m excited to hear about your day”
Empathize with the client - “I know how stressful wedding planning can be, I’m honestly happy you considered us to be here on your big day”
Blanket Statement - “The point of this call is to hear about you, answer any questions you may have, and tell you a little about what we do. I want to make sure we are a good fit for each other. My goal isn’t to sell you a “wedding video”. We take on about 20 weddings a year, and want to make sure we’re the right team for you on your day.”

About them
Let them talk here. Key is to gather information about pain points they’re having.
about you
Show them you are a real person. Talk about your passions not the business.
Video is movement. It isn’t a frame in time. You can push play, and go right back to the day. You can relive the moments, you can hear the sounds, and see the people who love you the most. Imagine how cool it would be to go back and watch a wedding film of your grandparents. I love this because I get to make something that will live long beyond my lifetime. I really love weddings because its one of the only moments in your life where everyone that matters to you is there, they look nice, they’re fixed up, and they’re filled with joy. This is the one event in your life where it makes sense for you to hire a professional videographer. My goal when shooting these is to one day show your kids and have them say “wow I want a love like mom and dads”.
When I shoot weddings I like to imagine it like I was shooting it for my daughter. I love the emotions of the day and really want you to soak those into the fullest. I want you to forget that I’m even there. That’s when the magic happens. That’s when I know I’ve done my job.
I love moments with family members, especially parents. I love capturing authentic voices, because those will mean more to you than anything else in the future.
I really want you to be fully present in all of the moments. If that’s your mom putting you into your dress, doing a first look with your dad, or him seeing you for the first time in your dress. Those moments are important to you and I want you to be fully present in those. Your wedding video is for you not a video for my portfolio.
